We also host an End of Year 9-Hole Golf Tournament at a local course, followed by a luncheon and awards for the top Point players. This event is usually scheduled around the 3rd Saturday in October.
Prizes are generally given to the Top Highest Point Players who qualified throughout the year (First and Second flight members are combined). To qualify members must play in at least 5 of the Clubs tournaments, and post 3 outside rounds (see AGGC By-laws, Section 9).
Members are also encouraged to invite a guest to this event for the golf experience and it’s a great opportunity to join up with our club.
It is a good way for all members to come together to discuss new ideas and talk about ways of how we can continue to improve our league.
