The AGGC is comprised of a President/Rules Chair, Secretary/Treasurer, Tournament Director, and Course Director(s).
- President/Rules Chair – Linda Moore –
The President provides leadership and direction to the club members, and the success of the club. The President is generally the spokesperson for the club and maintains relationships through communication within and outside the club. In addition, acts as Rules Chair which requires a basic knowledge of the USGA Rules and Handicap System, through routine attendance of seminars and certifications, and assists in any questions or rulings. Rules Chair also keeps track of each members monthly tournament points.
- Secretary / Treasurer – Theresa Hendrickson –
The Treasurer keeps track of the documentation of club memberships and dues, handles the payment of course contracts, course deposits and monthly tournament payments, and also controls the payout of tournament winners, club’s money, its collection, and disbursements.
- Tournament Director – Sharyn Enquist –
The Tournament Director maintains our tournament management Blue Golf software, interfaces with each course for tournament planning, sends out monthly tournament invites to the members through Blue Golf weblink, sets the flights and pairings, keeps track of each members tournament scores and postings. Tournament Director has an understanding of USGA’s Handicap System.
- Course Directors – Karin Kasper & Carolyn Gibson –
The Course Director procures our annual tournaments for each year by contacting various courses throughout the Bay Area. Obtains the contracts for each potential course and interfaces with the board members on the course selections.
